The Ability Center celebrated its 10th annual zoo day in honor of the Americans with Disabilities Act being passed 20 years ago.
At this event there were over 100 different agencies to come out and participate. My fellow VISTA members Maureen and Sarah, along with myself passed out flyers to the public. We received positive feedback from people who had never heard of OBB.
We also took this time to reach out to the agencies that were there. We went around and introduced those who were new to the OBB. Already we are happy to report that one agency is interested in becoming a site! Hopefully a few more will join in also!
